Donations of Kimono Are Accepted
Kimono Donation — Joy Beyond Time
Your kimono will be passed on to the next generation."
Do you have kimono lying dormant in the back of your closet?
Many kimono across Japan are carefully stored but no longer have an opportunity to be worn.
kico is a brand that considers kimono sleeping nationwide to be a Japanese asset, and transforms them into new forms through upcycling.
The kimono we receive are reborn into kico products such as triangle bags (azuma-bukuro) and long pouches, and delivered to their users.
It's a shame to dispose of them. But leaving them as they are isn't ideal either...
If you feel this way, please feel free to contact us.
